HAZELWOOD TRAINING FACILITY
Hazelwood is a wonderful 63 acre complex that was created from a nine hole golf course that previously occupied the site in Croysdale Avenue. Today, the state-of-the-art centre provides the administration and training base of the London Irish professional club and is also the base of the London Irish Amateur Rugby Football Club. both of which support the Centre.
The £12 million training complex opened on the 1st July 2014. The 63-acre site features 17 pitches, five full-size pitches, one of which is an artificial 4G surface, and 12 junior pitches. The clubhouse is state-of-the art and includes elite equipment required for a professional rugby team. Hazelwood resounds to the noise of up to 400 mini-rugby players and coaches that take over the grounds for training and matches.
